We're hiring for Procurement Sourcing Analyst Intern

As Procurement Sourcing Analyst Intern you will be responsible for supporting sourcing and procurement strategies that drive cost efficiency, strengthen supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with organizational standards. You will play a key role in market research, supplier onboarding, and process optimization, contributing to projects that enable sustainable growth and operational excellence.

You Will Be Part of Growing Team

You will join a growing Sourcing & Procurement team, driving cost efficiency, supplier excellence, and strategic sourcing to support business growth and sustainability

Your Challenge:

Data Analysis & Reporting

Collect, analyze, and interpret sourcing and procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities. Maintain accurate sourcing databases and dashboards for performance tracking.

Supplier Management

Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities. Support supplier evaluation processes, including performance metrics and compliance checks. Support with onboarding new suppliers. Support with BBBEE Procurement work. Support with Fleet Management.

Strategic Sourcing

Assist in developing and executing sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals. Participate in contract negotiations and help draft procurement agreements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with internal teams (finance, operations, category managers) to understand purchasing needs. Provide sourcing insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement projects.

Process Optimization

Recommend improvements to procurement policies and sourcing processes.

Key Stakeholders and Interactions

You will work closely with

internal teams

such as Finance, Operations, Category Managers, and Compliance to align sourcing strategies with business needs. Externally, you will interact with

suppliers and service providers

for market research, onboarding, performance evaluation, and contract negotiations.

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

Bachelor's degree

in supply chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.

Analytical skills

with experience in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI preferred).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

(Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, presentations, and documentation.

Knowledge of procurement processes

, supplier management, and compliance standards (BBBEE experience is a plus). Strong

communication and collaboration skills

to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
