Job Title: Procurement Officer
Location: Banking Sector
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Procurement Officer to join our team in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with knowledge of industry best practices and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency
Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships
Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities
Support internal stakeholders in identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulations
Manage the procurement process from request for proposal to contract execution
Track and report key performance indicators related to procurement activities
Assist in budgeting and forecasting for procurement activities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or related field
Proven experience as a procurement officer or similar role in the banking sector
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations and market trends
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Proficient in MS Office and procurement software
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus
