A Mining house based in the North West region is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager Duties:
To lead the development, implementation, continuous improvement and execution of The Company's Procurement strategy, policies and guidelines to drive shared goals and objectives. Ensure Procurement targets as required by the DMRE are being met and compile annual report
Ensure procurement policy, guidelines, standard operating procedures, and relevant documents are in place and updated when required
Compile management reports and monitor saving
Manage relationships with suppliers and select and develop new suppliers
Negotiate and manage contract terms with suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms
Review and negotiate existing agreements to optimise commercial terms
Embark upon and assess tenders from potential suppliers
Qualifications/Requirements:
Proven experience in a procurement/management role of at least 10 years, within the mining environment
Grade 12 with relevant business/commercial tertiary qualification
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management and Logistics or relevant experience
