Procurement - Imports Clerk
The Procurement - Imports Clerk is responsible for purchasing and processing, handling purchase requests from department heads, obtaining price quotes from suppliers, scheduling deliveries, and addressing shortages or missed deliveries. They play a crucial role in sourcing raw materials, supplies for manufacturing, and stock orders ready for resale, maintaining communication with international suppliers.
Competencies:
The ideal candidate must exhibit the following key attributes:
Fluent in English
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
Experience with Sage Evolution (advantageous)
Minimum 2 years of experience in Sea Freight/Imports
Strong mathematical and accounting abilities
Effective time management skills
Excellent reading comprehension
Keen attention to detail

Ability to comprehend written information accurately
