Job Summary Procurement Category Specialist needed in Bloemfontein.

Required:
Matric/ National Senior Certificate.
Valid Driverxe2x80x99s License & Own Vehicle.
**Relevant Qualification in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management will be advantageous**

Salary: R25 000 xe2x80x93 R50 000 (Depending on experience).

The successful candidate will have:
8 xe2x80x93 10 Years minimum working experience in the mining sector.
Excellent knowledge of Mining industry practices.
Setting & implementation of category strategy.
Provide category & process expertise to create & execute sourcing strategies.
Lead supplier management for defined categories.
Resolve any integration issues & gaps.
Conduct strategic review of Procurement, local sourcing operations & opportunities.
Review all stages of the procurement process.
Support Supplier Management process.
Deliver value & cost benefit target.
Procure to Pay Processes.
Develop Procurement Category Strategies.
Compile & report on Percentage Spend on approved category plans & contracts.
Total cost of ownership & lifecycle cost savings delivered.
Sustainability benefits delivered effectively.
Percentage Orders delivered.
On time contract review processing.
Supplier Performance Cycle Times.

The successful candidate will be:
Able to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
Understanding company strategies & business needs.
Have strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal & influencing skills.
Industry and market knowledge.
Continuous improvement across supply chain.
Knowledge of relevant mining laws, regulations, and ISO req.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
