Procurement / Sales Representative Truck Spares
Location: Pretoria West
Overview:
Seeking an experienced Procurement / Sales Representative for automotive truck spares. Responsible for sourcing quality parts, managing suppliers, and driving sales. Strong product and technical knowledge of truck components essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with part identification and quotations
- Give technical advice and upsell products
- Achieve sales targets and build client relationships
- Source and purchase truck parts locally/internationally
- Negotiate with suppliers and ensure prompt order delivery
- Maintain procurement records and monitor stock levels
- Expand supplier base and manage fast-moving items
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 3+ years in truck spares sales/procurement
- Strong product knowledge (Mercedes, MAN, Volvo, Scania, etc.)
- Experience with inventory/sales systems (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks)
- Valid drivers license is an advantage
- Negotiation, customer service, and sales ability
- Attention to detail and problem-solving
- Able to work under pressure, proactive, and results-driven
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
