Syngenta Crop Protection is headquartered in Switzerland.Role purposeProvide a high level of chemistry, batch process formulation and Process Engineering expertise.Project management for the Production department.Enforce a safety comes first mindsetHave a strong forward view on automation in the manufacturing plants.Focus on continuously improving Safety, Quality and efficiencies in the plant by means of additional instrumentation, process automation and identifying bottlenecks.Drive Root Cause Analysis in the Production environment.Drive Hopper projects and focus on a Continuous Improvement culture.Assist with process designs and efficiency projects and liase with design contractors.Drive and manage small multidisciplinary projects by using Continuous Improvement tools (OPEX).Gather and analyse data to contribute to the Production departmentxe2x80x99s OEE, down time, initiation of Hopper projects and Continuous Improvement.Run a formulation and/or fill and pack shift when required and ensure manufacturing processes are well managed and controlled.Must be able to work different hours and shifts when requested.AccountabilitiesManage projects for the Production department and follow the Syngenta standard project process.Manage and implement Hopper projects for the Production department.Focus on automation implementation in the plant to improve safety, quality and efficiency on the formulation, fill and pack lines.Generate, update and review all control logic in the plants.Manage the Management of Change process and make sure it is followed and implemented on all changes in the Production environment.Ensure P&IDxe2x80x99s are updated and reviewed on a regular basis.Support other Production Technicians on driving imrovements on Formulation and Fill & Pack lines to improve on OEE.Support Maintenance and Engineering on driving imrovements on Formulation and Fill & Pack lines to improve on OEE.Ensure PO process is well managed and executed.Ensure plant capability, capacity and improvements are captured and updated to align with siting team.Adapt an operational culture adhering to all applicable HSEQ and Engineering policies, procedures and guidelines.Act as Process Support for a manufacturing area and/or as a local expert in a formulation and F&P technology.Apply a combination of theoretical and applied knowledge in order to guide and lead challenges in that area.
