Job Description
Our client based in the Pinetown area is seeking a Process Engineer. The ideal candidate should be available immediately or within 2 weeks and have proven experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Industry.
Job description:
- Develop solder profile assemblies.
- Develop thermal profiles using component data sheets.
- Perform thermal profile measurements.
- Analyse thermal profiles and make necessary adjustments.
- Develop works instructions.
- Perform time studies.
- Develop line balanced assembly processes.
- Resolve manufacturing throughput constrains.
- Perform XYZ placement data / stock number linking and sanitizing.
- Provide wave solder jig design.
- Develop assembly jigs and fixtures.
- Perform Failure mode analysis.
- Perform PFMEA.
- Produce New Product Introduction (NPI) reports.
- Interface with test engineering to ensure efficient test times.
- Perform process audits.
- Produce monthly process report.
- Adequate use of X-Ray machine to maintain process control of LGA, BGA devices etc.
- Ensuring compliance with the companies Quality Management System and best practice.
- Maintaining all necessary production records.
- AOI Programming.
- Produce annual process improvements yielding R500K.
