A vacancy for a Process Assembly and Automation Manager has arisen in the Process Engineering Department.

PURPOSE:

To plan, organise, lead and control the functions at the Assembly Process Engineering and Automation Department in order to provide management with the information for the effective management of the companyxe2x80x99s various resources and to investigate, introduce and drive productivity in all spheres of the company.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Implement and improve assembly processes in order to support meeting the companyxe2x80x99s manufacturing objectives according to ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001
• To improve productivity and scrap rates within the areas of delegated responsibility
• To manage the continued planning and implementation of process optimisation within area of delegated responsibility
• To ensure continued compliance to all business, customer specific, Quality, Health and Safety, Environmental and prevailing legislative requirements
• Develop Process and Automation procedures
• Manage Process/Automation Engineering Functions
• Responsible for Capex and Project Planning
• Responsible for Manpower planning and control
• Will also be required to work with several different jobs simultaneously, under deadlines and pressure
• Required to keep up to date with technical developments
• Lead and motivate a team of technical experts
• Other duties assigned by management from time to time.

• Electrical/Mechatronic/Technical Diploma/Degree or equivalent technical knowledge and experience Assembly
• Electrical or Mechatronic Trade Tested with 5-10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience
• 3 xe2x80x93 7 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in assembly line design, development and implementation
• Very proficient in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• High speed assembly process and equipment knowledge and experience
• Yaskawa Robot, PLC and HMI programming experience
• Ultrasonic, vibration and Hot Plate welding experience
• Electro Pneumatic Experience
• Laser Engraver knowledge
• Effective writing of SOPxe2x80x99s
• FMEA and Control plan knowledge and experience
• Attention to details and high degree of job accuracy
