We are looking for passionate and dedicated Online Tutors to support learners academically through engaging and effective online lessons. The ideal tutor should be able to explain concepts clearly, adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles, and help learners build confidence and improve results.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality online tutoring sessions aligned with the CAPS/IEB curriculum
Prepare lesson plans and learning materials tailored to individual learner needs
Explain concepts clearly and encourage conceptual understanding (not rote learning)
Support learners with homework, tests, assignments, and exam preparation
Track learner progress and provide regular feedback to parents/management
Create a positive, supportive, and engaging online learning environment
Requirements
Qualified teacher
or
final-year education student (or relevant subject degree)
Strong subject knowledge (e.g. Maths, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, etc.)
Passion for teaching and learner development
Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, understandable way
Experience working with learners with different learning needs (e.g. dyslexia) is an advantage
Reliable internet connection, laptop, and basic online teaching tools

Patient, enthusiastic, and learner-focused
Professional, punctual, and reliable
Comfortable using online platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
