Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated

Private Investigator

to oversee and manage our security operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the leadership, strategic planning, and operational effectiveness of all security-related activities.

Education Requirements:

Private Investigator Certificate

from an accredited institution

Valid PSIRA Registration

(Grade C and above) Minimum of 2 years of relevant investigative experience in private investigations, security or related fields Strong knowledge of investigative techniques and legal procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and handle sensitive matters with discretion Valid driver's licence and reliable transport Clean criminal record

Experience

Previous experience in management role. Background in law enforcement. Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention strategies is essential. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills are required to handle various situations effectively. Experience in security operations fields will be considered an asset.

Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience

in the security industry

Firearm competency

(advantageous) Must reside in or be willing to relocate to

Gauteng.

Preferred Skills

Experience with digital investigations or forensic analysis Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Proficiency in surveillance equipment and investigative software.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct surveillance, background checks, and investigative research. Gather, analyze, and compile evidence in a legal and ethical manner. Conduct interviews and obtain statements from witnesses and involved parties. Prepare accurate, detailed investigative reports. Collaborate with legal teams, law enforcement, and clients where necessary. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to industry regulations and company standards. Use investigative tools, technology, and databases effectively. Testify in court when required.
