Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and present daily meals, snacks, and beverages to the highest standard.
Cater for special occasions, events, and gatherings within the household.
Shop for fresh, high-quality ingredients or liaise with trusted suppliers.
Maintain kitchen inventory, ensuring stock levels are monitored and replenished.
Manage budget for groceries and kitchen supplies.
Ensure kitchen and equipment are clean, sanitised, and well-maintained at all times.
Adhere to food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
Implement proper storage and waste management practices.
Prepare healthy and balanced meals, incorporating nutritional guidelines where required.
Adapt recipes for special diets (e.g., gluten-free, vegan, keto, etc.).
Travel with the employer when required to provide culinary services.
Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy at all times.
Provide occasional training or guidance to household staff regarding food service.
Experience
Proven experience as a Private Chef, Executive Chef, or similar role (minimum 3-5 years).
Experience preparing a variety of cuisines, including international and fine dining.
Background in menu planning, budgeting, and event catering.
Education
Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Professional Cooking, or related field.
Additional training in nutrition, dietetics, or specialised cuisines (advantageous).
