Implements training needs supplied by the units.
Design and produce training manuals and notes research, develop and update learning material
Presents existing courses.
Customise existing training material where necessary.
Determines training needs of each unit and ensure that they are informed by IDP.
Conducts classroom based training.
Develops and coordinates Workplace Skills Plan.
Co-ordinates training events.
Evaluates the training provided.
Designs learning outcomes and conduct assessments for learners.
Provides post course follow-up.

Essential Requirements
Diploma in Fire Technology or any other related and equivalent qualification.
Valid motor vehicle driving license (Code C).
8 years relevant operational experience of which 3 years must be at a supervisory level (e.g. Leading Fire Fighter).
Computer Literacy.
