Requirements



National Diploma (Civil Engineering) Must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineering

Technician



5-8 years' relevant experience in water sector Computer literacy: MS Office Driver's Licence, to be able to travel within the boundaries of the

City and beyond



Physically fit and able bodied

Key Performance Areas



Implement Zone management, treated effluent and spring water

programmes.



Maintain and Monitor District Metered Areas and Pressure

Management Zones.



Ensure visibility, monitor and report on the performance of zones. Develop and Implement business plans and processes. Plan and Implement capital and operational projects associated

with water use efficiency.



Ensure approved budget expenditure in line with MFMA and City

of Cape Town instructions.



Compile specifications and manage tender processes compliant

with statutory requirements.



Assume the role of a contract manager, project manager or

contract administrator in line with CCT instructions.



Engage with internal and external stakeholders.
