Requirements



A B Eng or BSc in Civil Engineering Eligible for professional registration with the Engineering

Council of South Africa (ECSA)



Minimum 8 years' relevant experience Computer literacy: MS Office Suite A valid code B drivers licence

Key Performance Areas



Identify, manage and provide technical input and advice on

the planning, project evaluation and conceptual design (both



reviewing existing and conceptualizing new road schemes)



of Transport Network Infrastructure projects



Project manage critical components associated with the

implementation and realisation of the City's Integrated Transport



Plan



Coordinate the project identification, project packaging and

ITP Programme conceptualisation process



Manage, administer and review contracts and projects in order

to ensure that governance and management of contracts/



projects is in compliance with the Contract Management



Framework (CMF) of the City and to ensure project success.



Lead, direct and coordinate the process of proclamation and

de-proclamation as applicable to road and property schemes



Ensure appropriate financial management, funding and

budgetary provisions and control are in place



Facilitate high-level stakeholder interfaces and

liaison,communication and statutory consultation processes



Provide high-level professional advice to consultants and staff Manage subordinate staff Ensure compliance all City policies and procedures
