Job Overview



Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Diploma or Degree in Finance or similar xe2x80x93 Preferred
  • 1-2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in administrative capacity
  • Previous Healthcare experience will be advantageous
  • Good understanding of pharmaceutical procurement processes
  • Price File Management
  • Pharmacy Procurement Risk Management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP (or related platform)
  • Advanced level of computer literacy
  • 1-2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in administrative capacity
  • Previous Healthcare experience will be advantageous

Duties & Responsibilities: Efficient price file management:
  • Establish and maintain a Pharmacy Contracts register
  • In collaboration with the Group Contracts Manager, manage the clients Pharmacy tender process
  • Accurately maintain the Central Price File per clients quality standards
  • Establish an audit process that will allow for detection of any unauthorised changes to the price file
  • Serve as the point of contact for Pharmaceutical enquiries related to pricing
  • Ensure vendors are in full compliance with clients standards
  • Provide analysis and assistance with contract negotiation
  • Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders regarding the change in price file items and Rand value
  • Distribute updated price file to internal stakeholders regularly
  • Liaise with service provider/s to ensure the price file is integrated (interfaced) into relevant systems

Build good working relationships
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, build sound relationships and ensure good communications
  • Ensure knowledge and advice is technically accurate and provide stakeholders with relevant information to keep them informed
  • Ensure timeous resolution of queries and complaints and take ownership of issues
  • Provide feedback to internal customers regarding delays
  • Escalate any issues for resolution to Line Manager

  • Ensure conflict resolution and respond to any complaints or concerns
  • Support skills development and transfer initiatives

Monitor costs or expenses within approved budget to reduce waste
  • Comply with cost controls in order to achieve section budget
  • Ensure accurate and detailed reporting
  • Report on cost usage that reflects delivery of planned work within agreed parameters
  • Monitor costs or expenses to achieve cost efficiencies and reduce waste

Adhere to reporting standards
  • Prepare operations reports as required
  • Submit feedback and progress updates to line manager as requested
