Job Description

We are looking for an individual to effectively supervise and manage in the department and assess and co-ordinate all Quality issues in the Preparation

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To manage and co-ordinate the training for the new machinery in the preparation department effectively.

To monitor & control the safety, quality, efficiency & effectiveness of all work on the new machines.

To assist with problem solving through mentoring & coaching of the preparation, Sizing and high-speed warping operators and assistant operators.

To develop empowered teams & multi-skilling in all areas of concern.

To maintain awareness of housekeeping, service & quality standards

To coordinate and liaise with other departments on Quality issues.

Ensure effective communication; internal and inter-departmental.

To work with management to continuously look at ways to improve systems and procedures in the factory.

To ensure that the relevant SHREQ procedures that pertain to area of responsibility are implemented and maintained in and around the factory.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Textile Qualification or Similar

1 year Quality experience,

2 years of working experience in preparation

1 year supervisory experience.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of fibers, yarns, and preparation processes

Ability to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot preparation machinery.

Production planning, target monitoring, and efficiency control.

Quality checking and early defect detection with corrective action.

Leadership skills for managing operators

Safety awareness

Problem-solving

Decision-making

Data recording and reporting

Basic Computer skills

Good communication and coordination with other departments.

Continuous improvement mindset

Diploma (Preferred)
Experience:
