Minimum Requirements



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities




Preparation of IFRS and IFRS for SME's annual financial statements Knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Office and Caseware. Management of multiple (three to five) assignments simultaneously Demonstrated an active role in reviewing juniors' work and providing on-the-job training Exposure to large private equity companies (would be advantageous) Experience auditing group companies (would be advantageous) Preparation and review of consolidated financial statements of listed entities (would be advantageous)

Minimum level of Education/Qualifications and experience required




SAICA Training contract - Audit & Assurance elective APC (preferable) or IAC / be eligible to write IAC in January 2026

Duties and Responsibilities



Main Purpose of Position:





The primary focus will be to assist the department managers in managing the client portfolios, supervise the development of SAICA trainee accountants and to supervise the day-to-day activities of the Department.


Position Overview:




Plan, manage, and finalise audit assignments Supervise and support audit teams daily Maintain client and staff portfolios Handle client queries and liaise with partners and managers Stay updated on technical developments Prepare budgets, fee sheets, and monitor team productivity Build and maintain strong client relationships Participate in planning and finalisation meetings * Resolve SARS-related queries and manage client communications
