Job Description

The responsibilities for this position include:

• Sales Strategy & Performance

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly/annual targets.
• Monitor sales team performance and implement improvements as needed.
• Set pricing strategies and promotional plans for used inventory.
• Analyze sales metrics, customer trends, and market data.
• Inventory Management

• Source and procure quality pre-owned vehicles through trade-ins, auctions, or wholesale.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure diversity in vehicle makes, models, and price points.
• Oversee vehicle reconditioning and readiness for display/sale.
• Track aging inventory and implement strategies to move older stock.
• Customer Experience & Relationship Management

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and address complaints effectively.
• Train the sales team in customer service and follow-up best practices.
• Oversee customer retention initiatives such as loyalty programs or referral incentives.
• Team Leadership & Development

• Recruit, train, motivate, and manage the pre-owned sales team.
• Set individual and team goals and provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions.
• Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all used vehicle sales transactions meet regulatory and company policy requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, financing, trade-ins, and inventory.
• Oversee vehicle appraisals and trade-in evaluations.
• Marketing & Promotions

• Coordinate with marketing to promote pre-owned vehicle inventory through online platforms, social media, and traditional advertising.
• Plan and execute sales events or seasonal promotions.
• Ensure high-quality vehicle listings (photos, descriptions, prices) on dealership and third-party websites
