A dynamic Retail Services Company is seeking a skilled Power BI & Data Analyst to enhance customer engagement and business operations through data visualization, reporting, and analytics. This role involves consolidating data from multiple sources, analysing trends, and providing insights to drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should have experience in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and data modelling, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Minimum Requirements:
 Degree-level education (Relevant to position)
 Minimum 3 years' experience in data visualization and analytics, working with businesses to improve strategies, operational efficiency, and performance (retail experience preferred)
 Experience consolidating data from multiple sources
 Internal and external stakeholder management to achieve business objectives
 Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau (strong knowledge and experience required)
 Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (certification or demonstrable experience preferred)
 Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (ability to summarize data analysis for effective communication)
 Microsoft Word proficiency for report writing
 Knowledge of business models, preferably in retail
 Data modelling skills (advantageous)
 Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
 Ability to interpret, evaluate, and analyze data to identify trends and solutions
 Ability to present insights and analysis to internal and external audiences
 Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
 Ability to work under pressure, manage workload fluctuations, and meet deadlines
 High level of accuracy and attention to detail
 Precise, structured, and disciplined approach to tasks
 Results-driven with a proactive mindset to drive continuous improvement

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Generate reports using Power BI and other BI tools for the UK/Europe customer base and adhoc reporting requests
 Develop new reports using datasets provided by the Data Team
 Analyze data trends and insights to support revenue growth and customer satisfaction
 Identify business impacts resulting from operational and strategic changes
 Provide data insights for performance KPI measurement
 Prepare reports for weekly, monthly, and annual governance meetings, collaborating with the Customer Engagement Team
 Ensure data accuracy and integrity, investigating and reporting inconsistencies to IT and management
 Support business case preparation with relevant data and insights
 Conduct in-depth analysis and reporting on:
 Sales performance by airline, destination, and other parameters
 Trend analysis to drive decision-making
 Digital marketing tracking and campaign analytics
 Customer satisfaction data (C Sat and CITA)
 Impact assessment of business changes
 Daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to business stakeholders
 Supplier sales and rebate tracking
 Create detailed requirement documents for IT-driven report development
 Maintain and update a structured reporting process to support business performance
 Work closely with the Customer Engagement Team to ensure data-driven decision-making
 Engage with stakeholders across the Company, UK and SA, requiring daily interaction with the wider business
 Perform additional tasks as directed by the line manager
 Maintain a 5-year checkable work record for referencing and compliance
