Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Power Apps Engineer to support a business-wide digital transformation programme. The role focuses on rapidly delivering practical, reliable Power Platform solutions that replace manual and Excel-based processes across Development, Construction, Marketing, HR and Finance teams.

This is a delivery-focused role. Architecture, roadmap, and product direction are already defined. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently, move quickly, and build tools that are adopted in day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) using Dataverse Develop Power Automate workflows, approvals, and notifications Replace Excel trackers and manual processes with structured, guided applications Build applications that align to agreed business processes and standard ways of working Integrate Power Apps with downstream reporting and analytics platforms Work from high level requirements and iterate quickly into detail with stakeholders Maintain clean, reusable components and clear documentation Support controlled releases in coordination with system administrators

Initial focus areas

Business-wide task and action management, starting with Development and Construction teams Construction procurement tracking, including international procurement Construction milestone and high-level resource tracking Supporting the rollout of a digital transformation request and feedback portal

Desirable experience

Experience replacing Excel-based operational trackers Familiarity with integrating Power Apps into broader reporting or data platforms (we are using Fabric) Experience working in construction, development, property, or operational environments Experience working remotely within a distributed team

Required experience

Approximately 5 to 8 years of professional experience At least 3 to 5 years of hands-on Power Platform experience Strong experience with Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) Strong experience with Power Automate workflows and approvals Solid understanding of Dataverse data modelling and security concepts

Pay: R30000,00 - R40000,00 per month
