Role Overview:
The Policy & Procedure Specialist is responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining internal policies and procedures to ensure alignment with local regulations, organizational strategy, and international best practices. This role plays a key part in promoting organizational consistency, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain company-wide policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and manuals
Conduct gap analyses and ensure alignment with relevant labor laws and regulatory frameworks
Collaborate with legal, , compliance, and operational departments
Facilitate policy awareness and training sessions across departments
Perform regular reviews and audits of existing policies and recommend updates
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, HR, or related field
5+ years' experience in policy development or governance within a corporate or government environment
Strong knowledge of international and South African policy frameworks
Exceptional writing, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred:
Experience working in the or a multicultural environment
Arabic language skills (advantageous, not required)
