The role of the Master Scheduler within a plant is to fulfil the customer requirements by levelling the activities of the production floor. The main missions of the role are to:

Analyse, understand and anticipate the customer needs, ensuring that they are reflected in production activities.
Analyse customer Misdeliveries Per Million (MPM) in order to propose improvement action plans: define and optimise data gathering and exchange and ensure data integrity in systems.
Follow up the achievement of the customer delivery program by managing alerts and following up with the transportation and the delivery of pieces.
Prepare the Sales & Operations Planning (PIC), respecting FES requirements, on a monthly basis in order to obtain proper volume levels and optimise resources (men, machines, materials and supplier readiness and capacity).
Implement and drive the Master Production Schedule (PDP) , respecting FES requirements, on a weekly basis to ensure a level production plan and make production line provisions for variations of customers demand.
Track PDP adherence in volume and mix, MIP usage KPIs, initiate improvement initiatives (ICA/PCA) & maintain PDCA
Manage the pool and safety stocks levels.
Check that the sequencer and procurements are consistent with the PDP.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have/be:
ND/ degree in: Logistics equivalent
Experience in production in an industrial environment (Logistics experience essential !)
5 years+ master scheduling experience.
Attitudes and Behavior required:

Ability to Working with People and Able to Cope with Pressures and Setbacks
Knowledge and Skills required:
Knowledge and application of problem solving best practices.

Conflict Management Skills & Customer Liaison.
SAP Knowledge essential.
