Our client has an opportunity available for a Plant Engineer Manager based in Aeroton.

Requirements:

Matric
N6 or a National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
7 years industry experience of which 5+ years are in a managerial or supervisory role.
Track record of production process improvements.
Experience in PLC equipment drives and automation.
Must have production process experience.
Basic training in Food Safety Management Systems including FSSC 22000.
Knowledge of boiler maintenance.
Willing to work weekends and public holidays when required.
Knowledge of environmental, health and safety.
Project management experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for Managing Maintenance Teams and for the upkeeping of Assets Care Shopware modules.
Develop and implement maintenance and preventative plans.
Assist with breakdowns and after hour call outs.
Ensure operation effectiveness of all machinery in the area of responsibility.
Responsible for Health and Safety in the area of responsibility.
Ensure GMP's are adhered to.
Keep Management teams up to date with daily occurrences which will influence business performance.
Draw up and manage Maintenance Budgets.
