This role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with physical challenges due to injury, illness, or age-related conditions--especially those with spinal and musculoskeletal issues. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, strong clinical knowledge, and a proactive, collaborative approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver high-quality manual therapy and rehabilitation interventions
Educate patients about treatment plans and progress
Collaborate with doctors, biokineticists, and administrative teams
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance
Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient case reviews
Stay current with CPD and industry regulations
Work with both DBC and non-DBC patient protocols
Provide support and education to patients and their families
Requirements:
Degree in Physiotherapy and registration with HPCSA
Valid BHF and relevant professional body registrations (e.g., BASA, SASP)
Clinical experience with spinal and musculoskeletal conditions preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud-based platforms
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
