Physiotherapist
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to conduct a Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) and prepare a detailed medical assessment report for an employee recovering from an Injury on Duty (IOD).
This short-term contract is ideal for professionals with experience in occupational rehabilitation or workplace injury assessment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct professional Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) for employees returning from injury.
Prepare detailed and objective medical assessment reports.
Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations on work readiness and rehabilitation.
Maintain professional standards and compliance with HPCSA regulations.
Collaborate with BrainRage's occupational health and case management team.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy.
Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) (valid Practice Number required).
Minimum 3 years' experience in occupational health, rehabilitation, or injury-on-duty assessments.
Proven ability to prepare clear and professional medical reports.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
Knowledge of Injury on Duty (IOD) protocols and disability management.
Experience in workplace ergonomics, rehabilitation planning, or occupational physiotherapy.
Professional indemnity insurance (advantageous).
