About the role
Our Therapy Group Practice at Nurture iLembe (KZN) is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join the interdisciplinary rehab team. We deliver acute and sub-acute rehabilitation to people with spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries, strokes, neurological and orthopaedic conditions, and other debilitating illnessessupporting each person to regain function, dignity and independence.
You will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate clinical diagnoses and design autonomous, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide physiotherapy interventions to in-patients and out-patients across the rehabilitation continuum.
• Develop appropriate, goal-directed packages of care and offer clinical and professional advice to patients, carers and fellow clinicians.
• Act as a source of expertise and guidance for therapy support staff.
• Contribute to discharge planning, patient/family education and community reintegration.
• Participate in weekend/public-holiday rotations as required.

REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING

• Degree in Physiotherapy
• Current HPSCA registration and malpractice insurance
• Up to date CPD status
• >5 years experience in a rehabilitation environment
• Special interest / expertise within neurology and orthopaedics

Minimum Salary: R29 399,95 CTC (including benefits)
