About the role

Our Therapy Group Practice at

Nurture iLembe (KZN)

is seeking an experienced

Physiotherapist

to join the interdisciplinary rehab team. We deliver acute and sub-acute rehabilitation to people with spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries, strokes, neurological and orthopaedic conditions, and other debilitating illnesses--supporting each person to regain function, dignity and independence.

You will:

Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate clinical diagnoses and design autonomous, evidence-based treatment plans. Provide physiotherapy interventions to

in-patients and out-patients

across the rehabilitation continuum. Develop appropriate, goal-directed packages of care and offer clinical and professional advice to patients, carers and fellow clinicians. Act as a source of expertise and guidance for therapy support staff. Contribute to discharge planning, patient/family education and community reintegration. Participate in

weekend/public-holiday rotations

as required.

REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING

Degree in Physiotherapy Current HPSCA registration and malpractice insurance Up to date CPD status >5 years' experience in a rehabilitation environment Special interest / expertise within neurology and orthopaedics

Minimum Salary: R29 399,95 CTC (including benefits)
