Our client in the petroleum sector is seeking a reliable and experienced
Petrol Station Manager
based in
Boksburg
to oversee the full operations of the station. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day activities, delivering excellent customer service, managing staff, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring full compliance with industry and safety regulations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Customer Service:
Ensure excellent customer service delivery and satisfaction.
Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Inventory Management:
Monitor fuel and product inventory levels.
Order and receive supplies as needed.
Implement inventory control procedures to minimise losses.
Financial Management:
Manage budgets and costs.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Operations Management:
Oversee daily operations, including fuel dispensing, store operations, and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Implement and maintain quality control standards.
Staff Management:
Supervise, motivate, and support staff in their daily duties.
Prepare and manage effective shift schedules.
Job Requirements
Must have a Matric certificate with Mathematics. - Essential.
Any higher tertiary qualification in management and accounting will be to your advantage.
Must be computer literate and be able to use Microsoft office (Excel/Word/Outlook)
Must be able to fluently communicate in English both verbal and in writing.
