Purpose
The PA will work closely with the MD, to help her to become more effective and efficient in her role, by providing high level project management, administrative and logistical support. Anticipation, discretion, project management and a high level of emotional intelligence is key.
Responsibilities:
Excellent project management
Manage tasks with discretion
Act as a bridge of communication to the MD
Preparing and editing correspondence, reports, communications, presentations and other documents for the MD
Assist with tracking the MD's strategic goals
Effective and timeous execution of necessary admin functions
Proactive project management and follow up
Providing effective support to the General Manager when necessary.
Effective management of meetings and relevant documentation.
Accurate minute taking and timeous distribution thereof.
Deliver high-quality correspondence, documents and presentations.
Filing system is maintained and documents are easily retrievable.
Meetings and functions are well organised.
Accurate processing, capturing and reporting of data and reconciliation of relevant invoices.
Diligent and efficient assistance with travel arrangements.
Arranging Board and Management Meetings with relevant documentation and catering arrangements.
Advanced MS office knowledge.
Ability to work under pressure in order to achieve tight deadlines.
Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Senior Certificate (NQF 4).
Degree/ Diploma in Business Administration will be an advantage.
5-7 years work-related skills and experience.
