As the People & Talent Specialist you will own the full employee lifecycle--attracting and hiring top talent, onboarding them for success, and driving the engagement programs that celebrate, engage, and retain our people.You'll support full-cycle hiring from posting to initial screenings, while also owning initiatives. Expect ~ 60 % of your week on full?cycle recruiting and ~ 40 % on people?ops & engagement. Your mission: fill roles fast and keep our distributed team connected and thriving.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition ( 60 %)
Partner with the HR Team to refine and execute recruitment strategies.
Draft SEO?rich job ads and post via general platform boards.
Conduct initial resume screening, phone screens and structured virtual interviews.
Maintain spotless ATS data.
Provide a white?glove candidate experience from application to offer.
Onboarding, Culture & Engagement ( 40 %)
Facilitate onboarding journeys that make new hires feel welcomed and productive.
Plan monthly team?building activities and our annual holiday party--even for remote staff.
Run recognition for birthdays, work anniversaries, and performance milestones.
Facilitate engagement surveys, analyze results, and build action plans.
Oversee time?keeping workflows and partner with HR Manager on workforce efficiency.
Own upbeat HR comms that spotlight wins and promote well?being.
What You Bring
2+ years talent acquisition and or 3-5 People Operations experience
Experience with ATS management.
Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate?experience skills.
Project?management skills for onboarding, events, and compliance tasks.
Data?driven mindset.
Demonstrated experience or aptitude in event planning and coordination
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds

Please Note:
This role requires availability in Central Standard Time (CST) to attend meetings ,and to support employee engagement. Standard working hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST; however, we offer flexibility with alternate schedules of 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM CST or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST. Additional flexibility in working hours will become available over time as you settle into the role.
