People Support Practitioner: Erp Programme

Job Description

The People Support Specialist provides dedicated, full-time operational People Support capacity to the PEP ERP Programme, ensuring day-to-day HR needs are met and people-related workstreams are delivered effectively throughout the transformation journey.



This role serves as the on-the-ground HR partner embedded within the ERP Programme team, managing operational HR processes, coordinating resources, supporting talent management activities, and acting as the first point of contact for all people-related queries from programme team members. The role works closely with the Programme Manager on operational delivery while receiving strategic guidance and mentorship from the National People Support Manager.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



Operational People Support Delivery


Execute day-to-day people support activities for the PEP ERP Programme team Support operational HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, and contractor management for PEP internal programme resources Process HR transactions and documentation related to programme resourcing
Resource & Talent Coordination


Support recruitment and PEP onboarding of PEP internal programme team members (permanent, contractors, vendors) Coordinate with Talent Acquisition on hiring needs, job descriptions, and timelines Track PEP internal resource utilization, availability, and allocation across programme workstreams
Stakeholder Coordination & Communication


Act as first point of contact for HR queries from programme team members Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programme-specific people matters Liaise with business HR teams
Programme Administration & Reporting



Learning & Development Coordination


Coordinate training logistics and learning interventions for PEP internal resources Partner with L&D team on ERP training needs and delivery
Continuous Improvement & Change Support


Identify opportunities to streamline people processes and improve efficiency Contribute to knowledge sharing and lessons learned for the programme


Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or related field (required) Honours degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, or Business (advantageous) Professional HR certification (SABPP, CIPD) in progress or planned (advantageous) 3-5 years of HR/People Support experience with operational/generalist experience Prior involvement in projects or programmes (ERP/transformation experience highly advantageous) Experience supporting business operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Exposure to multi-site or complex organizational structures (advantageous) Experience in retail, FMCG, distribution, or supply chain industries (advantageous) Experience with HRIS systems and HR technology platforms Demonstrated track record of operational HR delivery and stakeholder management
