Job Description


Education:

  • HR related qualification
Skills/Experience required:
  • At least 3 -5 years experience within a similar role
  • Experience with Sage 300 people
  • Strong payroll experience
Duties
  • Administration of all payroll functions: coordinating, collating and processing of all information including but not limited to new employees, resignations, expense claims, overtime, leave, provident fund and medical aid.
  • Monthly reconciliations of staff loans, medical aid and provident fund contributions.
  • Monitoring of leave accruals/balances and tracking of leave records.
  • Managing of the BBBEE system and ensuring that all paperwork and evidence for the annual BBBEE assessment audit is updated. Along with identifying and communication potential Socio-Economic Development initiatives.
  • Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, and provide guidance and interpretation for business operations
  • Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements
  • Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs
  • Suggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of HR department and company
  • Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and procedures when necessary.
  • Maintaining an efficient records system, with accurate information, correctly filed and up to date.
  • Researching and managing training initiatives and sourcing necessary service providers for conducting training. Managing of training initiatives, spend and bonds.
  • Promoting and supporting the usage of the employee recognition programme and managing the monthly administration of the system, including the budget and administration.
  • Timeous submission and preparation of the WSP, ATR, EE Reports, Earning submissions and Workmans compensation. As well as the timeous preparation of tax reconciliation and IRP5 process.
  • Coordinating the EE Committee, scheduling necessary meetings, training, minutes and providing feedback from meetings to staff.
