Are you ready to deliver the goods when it comes to payroll perfection? Our client, a global leader in courier and delivery services, is on the express hunt for a Payroll Manager who can truly ship out accurate paychecks with first-class precision.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Own the runway for both local and international payrolls including compliance with multi-country regulations and exchange nuances
• Navigate and manage varied pay structures including: Commission-based compensation, Fixed-term contracts & temporary staff and Permanent employees, Overtime and Standby-based compensation and Allowances across multiple business units
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure on-time, accurate payroll delivery
• Keep your finger on the payslip pulse maintain knowledge of changing tax laws, statutory deductions, and industry standards
• Employee benefits administration for medical aid, pension and provident funds, and bargaining council
• Champion system improvements and payroll automation where possible
• Provide insightful reports and forecasts to help leadership make pay-savvy decisions

Education Requirements:

• Completed Matric (Grade 12)
• Relevant SAGE qualification

Job Requirements and Skills:

• 10+ years' experience in a payroll position essential
• 4 to 5 years' experience in a supervisory capacity essential
• Advanced Sage system knowledge
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Attention to detail
• Deadline driven
• Ability to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
• Team player
