Own the runway for both local and international payrolls xe2x80x93 including compliance with multi-country regulations and exchange nuances
Navigate and manage varied pay structures including: Commission-based compensation, Fixed-term contracts & temporary staff and Permanent employees, Overtime and Standby-based compensation and Allowances across multiple business units
Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure on-time, accurate payroll delivery
Keep your finger on the payslip pulse xe2x80x93 maintain knowledge of changing tax laws, statutory deductions, and industry standards
Employee benefits administration for medical aid, pension and provident funds, and bargaining council
Champion system improvements and payroll automation where possible
Provide insightful reports and forecasts to help leadership make pay-savvy decisions
Education Requirements:
Completed Matric (Grade 12)
Relevant SAGE qualification
Job Requirements and Skills:
10+ years' experience in a payroll position essential
4 to 5 years' experience in a supervisory capacity essential
Advanced Sage system knowledge
Strong communication and reporting skills
Attention to detail
Deadline driven
Ability to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
