Tertiary qualification and/or relevant payroll-related certification is essential.
5-8 years' payroll experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
Extensive knowledge of Sage 300 People Payroll software, including modules and ESS.
Advanced Payroll Tax knowledge, including monthly, bi-annual, and annual submissions.
Strong working knowledge of relevant labour legislation, tax legislation, and bargaining council requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel essential).
Financial acumen and knowledge of SAP accounting software advantageous.
Strong experience in PAYE, SDL, UIF, WCA & RMA.
Must reside in the West Rand area or surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Full payroll function: end-to-end processing for multiple entities.
Payroll reporting to meet statutory and internal obligations.
Month-end reconciliations and consolidations.
Reconciliation of PAYE, SDL, UIF, and other legislative returns.
Preparation and submission of EMP201, EMP501, and SARS-related queries.
Assist with GL allocations, bonus schedules, and provisions.
Provide support and guidance on all remuneration and benefits-related matters.
Preparation of payroll-related reports and management summaries.
Assist with year-end processing, financial year-end reconciliations, and statutory submissions.
Support HR with payroll-linked queries, reports, and compliance.
Assist with bursary and employee benefit processing.
