To accurately and timeously administer payroll on Sage, ensuring compliance with South African labour and tax legislation, including BCEA, SARS, UIF, and COIDA requirements. The role is responsible for maintaining payroll data integrity, supporting statutory submissions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer payroll for 400+ employees, including wage preparation on Sage
Export monthly salary and garnishee files to Finance
Submit UIF declarations monthly
Prepare and submit the necessary statutory returns.
Provident Fund Administrator the Sanlam Provident Fund on behalf of the group
Upload payslips on SSS.
Update Interbranch salary transfers and salary cost monthly
Prepare Overtime & Locum cost reports per branch
Process Incentives
Prepare and import recons into Easy File
Monthly reports to Managers
General filing & recordkeeping
Run regular updates on Sage and implement changes timeously
Ad Hoc Payroll duties.
REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 (Matric)
National Diploma in Payroll Administration / Finance / HR (Advantageous)
3 - 6 years' experience
Experience working on Sage
