PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION - Responsible for all deduction administration including filing, (3rd parties, new employee deductions to be linked, etc); Analyse and audit prelim payroll for production weekly; Administer all payroll items for separations and apply for Tax directives (Retirees, Retrenchments, Deceased, etc); Process EFT & Extra Payment for bank portal; Administer Shutdown Bonus Payroll.

RECONCILIATION - Responsible for the below reconciliations completed monthly: Wages clearing & PAYE; Loans; Provident Fund; Trade Unions & Community Chest.

COMPLIANCE - Responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating payroll components; Responsible for Annual Bonus Accruals for Wages; Update and maintain PoMS processes as SME for wages payroll processes; Conduct audit check for outstanding approvals of online Terminations weekly.

REPORTING - Complete Payroll Checklist for Terminations weekly; Prepare and Maintain movement list; Calculate Leave Provision for weekly paid employees; Prepare Costing for Hourly Payroll.

GENERAL - Manage or participate in department projects; Assist with pay related queries for hourly paid employees; Responsible for affordability checks for loans and tyre purchases; Process invoices for payment, order stationery supplies etc.

LEGISLATIVE EXTERNAL PAYMENTS - Email 3rd Party Schedules for All Deductions.

ESH - Ensure implementation of measures and maintain controls; Raise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties; Ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards; Demonstrate exemplary personal behaviour in ESH and motivate others.

Qualifications

Payroll Administration/ Finance/ HR Qualification

3-5 years related experience

Computer literacy at an Advanced Level
