Job Description

The candidate must have 5 years of experience in cash management, treasury, finance or a related field. Also experience working in the automotive industry or similarly complex industries is beneficial. Demonstrated experience with managing banking relationships and understanding bank services and fees. Experience in managing electronic payment systems and transactions. Proven track record in managing cash flow, forecasting, and financial analysis. Experience with process improvements in a finance function would be beneficial. Experience using treasury software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A postgraduate degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Professional financial certifications such as Certified Treasury
• Professional (CTP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered
• Financial Analyst (CFA), or ACCA.

*Computer Literacy: Advanced proficiency in using Excel and other MS Office tools as well as payment processing and treasury software.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Oversee daily cash flow, preparing cash forecasts, and managing liquidity. This includes daily monitoring of cash positions, short-term investing and borrowing, and managing intercompany cash.
• Ensure the smooth processing of all outgoing payments to suppliers, contractors, and employees. This involves working closely with accounts payable, payroll, and other departments.
• Act as the primary point of contact with banks and financial institutions for all matters related to cash management. This includes managing bank accounts, negotiating fees, resolving issues, and evaluating banking services and proposals.
• Mitigate operational and financial risk by developing and enforcing internal controls, complying with financial regulations, and maintaining an up-to-date understanding of market risks.
• Produce regular reports on cash operations, payments, and forecasts for senior management, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Participate in or lead projects to improve cash and payment processes, systems, and policies. This may involve working with other departments and external vendors.
