Job Purpose
Administering the payment run ensuring that all vendors are paid according to payment terms. Managing rejections and ensuring resolution to avoid penalties for late or non-payment
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Monitor Payment Run

  • Ensure that the payment run executes successfully by monitoring return of files from the bank and managing all exceptions thereby ensuring that vendors are paid in accordance with their payment terms.
Payment Systems Enhancements
  • Working closely with treasury on any enhancements required for the payment system by testing all new functionality to ensure integrity of data.
Query Logging
  • Logging and resolving queries related to payment runs to ensure timeous issue resolution.
Requirements:
Minimum
  • NQF Level 5 (Higher Certificate in Administration).
  • 3 years' experience in Administration
Advantageous
  • 2 years' experience in petty cash/payment co-ordinator role
  • SAP Experience
