Job Description
We have an amazing opportunity for a Pavement Engineer based in South AfricaIndustry: EngineeringLevel: SeniorKey Requirements:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with a focus on pavement design and materials.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pavement engineering, including design, construction, and maintenance of roadways and airport pavements.Proficiency in pavement design software.Strong understanding of pavement materials, including asphalt, concrete, and aggregate properties, and their behavior under different loading and environmental conditions.Knowledge of relevant design guidelines and standards for pavement construction.Experience in conducting pavement condition assessments, performance evaluations, and life cycle cost analyses.Familiarity with pavement rehabilitation techniques and strategies to optimize pavement performance and longevity.Excellent technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports, specifications, and design documentation.Personal Attributes:Strong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented with a focus on qualityStrong organizational and time management skillsIf you would like to apply for this position, please send your CV through to or contact us at XXX-XXXX.
