Pattern Maker - Hammersdale, KZNDromex Globale (PTY)Ltd is looking for a skilled Pattern Maker that is available immediately to join our team.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Design patterns and test to ensure product quality Develop standardized production procedures Generate patterns based on customer and garment specifications Create and edit drawings that are used to manufacture products Propose modifications to the types of materials used in product design Create new products Support, create and design new products Analyze the results of production tests and work with product, development teams, suppliers, and other contractors to find solutions to problems Operate CAD software and other software used to create and edit products visuals Maintain clear and up to date records Promote positive working relationships with suppliers and customers Attend meetings, conferences, and trade shows to engage with trends and developments in manufacturing Implement lean manufacturing and continuous process improvement Managing a sampling departing Maintain and improve on fabric utilization Design and create patterns for the production and assembly of finished products Maintain, create and update complete technical packs Train less experienced patternmakers in all aspects of patternmaking To liaise and collaborate with out sourced printers and embroiders Assist the production and quality department with garment construction & problem solving. Always adhere to the relevant health and safety rules and regulations Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operation efficiency General Ad-hoc dutiesMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 5-10 Years of experience in Lectra Diamino and Modaris 5-10 Years of direct experience in Lecta cutting and laying equipment Grade 12 (Matric Certificate) Degree or Diploma in Clothing/Manufacturing Strong knowledge of fabric compositions & grading essential Understand safety legislation/committee affiliation - SABS & SAIOSH Knowledge of SABS SANS 434 & 1387-4 standards Knowledge of Isync Solutions will be beneficial Proficient in MS Office 365 (Excel proficient) Strong administrative and analytical skills xe2x80x93 reading and writing English Ability to communicate effectively Excellent people and organising skills to build relations with co-workers Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations Accountable, Pro-active, Resourceful and ReliableDirect applicants only.Should you not receive feedback within 2 weeks, unfortunately your application was not shortlisted.Job Type: Full-timeExperience:Lectra Diamino and Modaris: 5 years (Required)Lecta cutting and laying equipment: 5 years (Required)Ability to Commute:Hammarsdale, KwaZulu-Natal (Required)
