-Join us as a Patrolperson will be responsible for the application of routine security procedures within Valterra Platinum Operation to ensure that employees and assets are protected and will also include emergency prevention duties.


You will take on a range of different tasks within the Processing Protection Services Your responsibilities will include: Follow work instructions and ensure proper understanding of the required actions. Apply recognized work and security standards and conduct allocated patrols or checkpoint duties Enforce access controls and support risk management Ensure that security tasks are completed to required quality standards. When a security issue is observed take appropriate action within procedures Identify and report all irregularities to Supervisor and report to supervisor when task complete and effective two-way communications with team members and visitors Promote security awareness by reminding team members to follow work procedures and identifying problems with work practices Maintains facilities, equipment and personal image up to a high standard of presentation. Support effective teamwork and Participate in required meetings including safety, health, environment in initiatives

Qualifications

-Grade 12 Registered with the PSIRA on grade C.

Advantage

Handle and use of shotgun, Handgun and Rifle Unit Standard Business purpose for Shotgun, Handgun and Rifle Unit standard Valid SAPS Firearm Competency. Drivers license

Experience

No criminal record Polygraph test and bi-annual testing. Psychometric Assessment for firearm users will be an advantage.
