Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented L2 technician to join our Patch Management, Compliance, and Audit team, with a focus on Patch Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, testing, and deployment of patches and security updates to our client's IT environment. This role requires a strong technical background in patch management processes and tools, as well as a good understanding of IT compliance and auditing.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute the patching of servers, workstations, and network devices.

Test patches and updates in a lab environment to ensure compatibility and stability.

Deploy patches to production systems in a timely and controlled manner.

Monitor the patch management process and report on compliance levels.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the patching process.

Maintain the patch management infrastructure and tools.

Create and maintain documentation for patch management procedures.

Assist with internal and external audits by providing evidence of patch compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience in a patch management or systems administration role.

Strong knowledge of patch management tools (e.g., SCCM, WSUS, or similar).

Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell).

Good understanding of IT security and compliance concepts.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and documentation skills.
