Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented L2 technician to join our Patch Management, Compliance, and Audit team, with a focus on Government compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our client's IT environment meets all government security and compliance requirements. This role requires a strong technical background in patch management, a deep understanding of government security standards, and experience with IT auditing.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that all systems are patched and configured in accordance with government security mandates.

Conduct regular compliance assessments to identify and remediate any deviations from government standards.

Prepare for and participate in government audits, providing evidence of compliance and responding to audit findings.

Develop and maintain security documentation, including system security plans and compliance reports.

Stay up-to-date with the latest government security regulations and advisories.

Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that all new systems and applications are designed and implemented in a compliant manner.

Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience in an IT compliance or security role, preferably in a government environment.

Strong knowledge of government security standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, FISMA, etc.).

Experience with patch management and vulnerability scanning tools.

Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP) are highly desirable.
