Kendrick recruitment is seeking an Experienced Pastry Chef Location: Western Cape, South Africa Salary: R20,000 per month (depending on experience) Live-in Accommodation Are you a talented and experienced Pastry Chef with a passion for creating exquisite desserts and pastries? Do you have a flair for creativity and a commitment to delivering the highest quality culinary experiences? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you at a luxury reserve in the stunning Western Cape of South Africa. Responsibilities:
- Creating and executing a wide range of delectable pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
- Developing new recipes and innovative pastry creations that showcase your culinary expertise.
- Managing the pastry section, including inventory control, ordering, and cost management.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
- Collaborating with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
- Training and mentoring junior pastry chefs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end culinary establishment.
- A strong passion for pastry arts and a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional creativity and the ability to stay current with pastry trends.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- A degree or diploma in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.
- Legal authorization to work in South Africa is a must.
