An award-winning luxury estate in Franschhoek is seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join its acclaimed culinary team. This is an opportunity to showcase creativity and precision in a refined kitchen environment known for its artistry, innovation and attention to detail.


What You'll Do




Prepare and design a range of pastries, desserts and baked goods to five-star standards Develop new and seasonal dessert creations that reflect the property's culinary style Maintain consistency in taste, presentation and portion control across all pastry items Ensure freshness and quality through proper ingredient handling and storage Assist in inventory management, stock rotation and waste control Support the Head Chef with menu development, special events and service preparation

What You'll Need




Diploma or certification in Pastry or Culinary Arts Minimum 2 years' experience in a 5-star hotel or fine dining environment Strong creativity and eye for detail in both flavour and presentation Excellent time management, organisation and communication skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining the highest standards
