Pass Runner (hoseki Restaurant)

Job Description
Delaire Graff Estate is looking for a Pass Runner to be of assistance to all at our Hoseki restaurant and to ensure we provide excellent customer service to all guests.
Main responsibilities:
- Assist with any reasonable requests by a manager
- Be able to fill duties and responsibilities of a waiter
- Responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene of the pass areas
- Check that all mise en place is complete and ready for service
- Polish all plates and copper bowels for service
- Should be able to carry a tray with food safely
- Knowledgeable about the menu & Estate
- Should be able to know all table numbers
- Assist any of the chefs in the kitchen if need be
- Responsible for sorting all empty wine bottles and organising the area where empty wine bottles are stored
- Polish cutlery when all pass duties are completed
- Assist the waiters in the restaurant
- Place orders for any condiments with the chefs
- Preferably 1-2 years' previous pass runner, restaurant or kitchen experience
- Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills
- Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele
- Must be well-presented
- Flexibility & Accountability
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Planning & Organizing skills
