Investigate and ensure corrective actions for reasons why items end up in block stock; keep a reporting log
Log claims against Vendors regarding damaged stock and/or missing stock (Cat Claims Portal)
Claims: Inspect, update claims register; record the claim on SAP & CAT system within required timeframe
Daily follow up on claim status and action (close/return/scrap as per policy).
Perform stock counts (cycle/wal -to-wall/etc.)
Run reports to ascertain available bins and free up as required and assign bins to stock without bin
assignments
Remove scrapped stock from bins and destroy as per policy requirements.
Assist warehouse with daily activities
Execute necessary movement of stock as per authorized request
Assist with PoE Audits by providing required evidence for areas of responsibility.
Remove and dispose of parts as per service letter requirements
Daily open stock order management, Manage Stock Performance reports.
Lead-time management, Surplus management
Parts Availability barometer
Compile and maintain Stock accuracy report
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
Minimum requirement: Grade 12
Qualification in Stock keeping, and stock control would be an advantage
3 years relevant warehouse/inventory experience
