Job Description

DUTIES:

Monitor actual sales to budgets and ensure set targets are met Manage sales and performance measurements of staff On the jobs training and mentoring of staff Oversee and supervise a combination of staff (Sales, stores and admin) Maintain parts systems, processes, accuracy and stock Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to by yourself and the parts team Have a critical impact on customer service excellence and enhance the customer's perception of Bell Equipment ( internal and external ) Manage customer Quotations & Back orders daily to minimise losses & promote timeous deliveries. Oversee account and cash sales for payment and order validity. Control after hours standby duties & ensure high level of service to customers. Manage Inventory in warehouse including regular cycle counts and stocktakes Ensure proper parts coverage and strategic stock for all machines operating in the area Oversee stock returns process and controls Be on standby 24/7 for support and related assistance Liaise with customers at all levels within your area including visits to their sites and offices. Manage "all" parts related reports Adhere to "all" company SHEQ and OHS requirements Reports to Branch Manager and thereafter the National Parts Manager on related responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS:

Matric and or Abet level 4 Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a parts aftermarket environment is essential Applicants must have strong communication/ negotiation skills Must be motivated & resourceful Must be able to work well under pressure Must be computer literate, Microsoft, Lotus Notes. Earthmoving product knowledge essential. Knowledge of Bell related would be an advantage SAP knowledge / experience would be an added advantage Valid code 8 or higher driver's license
